Introductin & Overview
This department of Urology had been built in 1983, by the name of Dr.Akira Ueno, M.D.,Ph.D., as 1st Professor/Chairman (Prof.Emeritus, and Vice President of Yamanashi Medical University). In 1999, Dr.Masayuki
Takeda has become 2nd Professor/Chairman.
Prof.Takeda had been Dean of Medical School, from 2013 to 2017, and is now President of the Hospital of University of Yamanashi.
In 2010, Prof.Takeda has moderated the 17th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Continence Society in Kofu city. More than 10 foregin researchers have been invited, and nearly 1,000 members have joined. In 2015, Prof.Takeda has moderated the 80th Annual Meeting of the Eastern Section of the Japanese Urological Association in Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo with almost 2,000 participants, and will moderate the 28th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Sexual Medicine. Members of the department have gained many award including the Japanese Urological Association, the European Urological Association, and the American Urological Association.
Motto
Motto of the department is ”Enjoy good and bright study”, motto of the clinic is “High quality minimally-invasive treatment which can satify patients”, and motto of research is “Original,Simple,and Understandable”.
